PRESENTATION: Duke U: Nat Gas and carbon reduction

"Looking Back and Looking Forward: Duke University's Changing Energy Infrastructure and the Pursuit of Climate Neutrality"
The presentation will focus on how Duke University has utilized natural gas as a part of their comprehensive campus energy strategy and showcase the university's recent carbon reduction accomplishments.

SPEAKER: Casey Collins, PE,
Energy Manager for Duke University

In his current role, Casey manages the supply and demand energy and water resources for a 20 million square foot campus supporting over 30,000 people every day.  His team focuses on identifying and implementing a broad portfolio of technologies and organizational solutions to help the University meet its greenhouse gas neutrality commitments.

Prior to his work at Duke, Casey served industrial, institutional, and architectural clients with a variety of energy engineering and project management services.  Outside of his professional roles, he serves his community on the Durham City/County Environmental Affairs Board.  He is an alumnus of NC State University, a Certified Energy Manager, and a pretty decent fiddle player.
