GSA Seeks Changes to its P100 Facility Standards

GSA Seeks Changes to its P100 Facility Standards

The U.S. General Services Administration is soliciting proposed changes to P100, the Public Building Service’s facilities standards that are used for contracting, design and construction of public facilities. These standards apply to a wide range of projects, including small projects, renovations, new construction, reimbursable work with agencies and Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) work. The P100, which is now updated every three years, currently requires buildings to be designed at least 30% more efficient than the design required by ASHRAE 90.1-2016.

The online form allows for the collection of change proposals from the 2018 P100 and addendum which can be found here. Proposed changes will be accepted through October 1, 2020 and the form can be accessed here
